Halo bassinet3/5/2023 You’ll be able to just lay back down and go to sleep! Being able to keep them in place, change them, lift them to nurse them and then put them back to rest without ever even having to climb fully out of bed is fabulous. It helps the baby too if he/she is not carried a great distance and then diaper changed. The mesh baskets on both sides of the Bassinest are great features! The ability to hold diapers, wipes, and a spare outfit in the pocket is an amazing feature! Trust me, the shorter the time that you are walking around and changing the baby, the more rest you get. Here you can see the Bassinest swiveled out of the way. I cannot say enough good things about this feature. If you have a co-sleeper that attaches to the bed then you have to crawl off the end of the bed to get out. This is a HUGE advantage over co-sleepers that attach to the bed. The baby can be literally an inch above your bed - over your bed - and then if you need to get up to use the rest room you can just push it out and swivel it out of the way. The 360 degree swivel feature is amazing. I can put the baby in the Bassinest and her 3 and almost 2 year old sisters cannot get her out - so mommy knows it is safe to run to the restroom with her safely tucked in here! Its locking feature is also incredibly helpful when older siblings are involved. The arm bar does however make it very easy to comfort your baby or just to lay a hand on them to feel close to them (or to check for breathing as we all do). So, it really just depends on what you are looking for. It makes the whole Bassinest more safe for the baby. I was hoping it would be more of a co-sleeper in that I wouldn’t have to sit up to take the baby out of the Bassinest at night, but it is very nice to be able to have them close to you. My only con of the HALO Bassinest is that the arm bar isn’t easy to lower. You have the option of locking the arm bar in place or making it so that it can come down when you put your arm on it. The front wall of the Bassinest features an "arm bar" that can move up and down so you can care for your baby. It works for beds that are 22 to 34 inches tall. The Bassinest can be raised or lowered to accommodate a wide variety of bed heights. I admit, I thought it would be a big assembly process, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was fully functional in only 20 minutes. It took my husband 20 minutes to put it together with my 3 year old and 20 month old “helping." It took another 20 to find our batteries for the music/vibrating attachment and to screw it on and play with it for a while. I only wish I had it for my first two babies. Our third daughter was born the day after Christmas and Lilibeth loves her Bassinest!Īssembling the Bassinest was simple. It's recommended for up to 5 months of age and/or 20 pounds. The HALO Bassinest has to be the neatest bassinets ever. I could not be more excited to share with you my thoughts about the HALO Bassinest Swivel Sleeper and the HALO SleepSack Swaddle. The Bassinest came out just after my second little one was born and I coveted it from the moment I saw it, and now here it is in my house for baby number three! My older daughters have both been in SleepSacks until about 2 years old but this is my first time using a SleepSack Swaddle. Read our full review to see if this bassinet is the right one for your family. The HALO Bassinest Swivel Sleeper is the only bassinet that can swivel to allow your baby to sleep as close to you as you want, even right next to you, while still sleeping safely in their own space.
